Elite valve's E5400 robust Uni/Bi-Directional Knife Gate Valves
The E5400 Light Process KGV is designed for industrial use as well as the municipal water & wastewater industry. The beveled gate design creates a pressure independent process seal. The gate backer in larger sized valves improves process seal for low pressure and reverse flow conditions. The braided PTFE packing with adjustable packing follower, or optional transverse seal design ensure reliability and durability in various applications for fluids and light solids. The positive gate stop maintains seat integrity. The E5400 is suitable for bidirectional shut-off or dead-end service applications.

- High visibility clevis provides easy identification of valve position
- Grease fitting on handwheel bearing reduces operating torques

- 2” to 60” (larger on request); 150psi rated <24” and 30psi >30” (higher rating achieved with alternate components and materials); dead end service capable
- Cast 304SS or 316SS stainless steel lugged ANSI 16.5 Cl.150 body, 304SS stem and yoke
- Standard Viton or Metal seat, optional EPDM, Buna-N, Aflas
- Polished 304SS or 316SS gate, optional 17-4PH, RC50, and Duplex
- Optional coatings including Xylan 1070, Stellite, Or Hard Chrome
- Optional features: v-port insert for linear flow control, non-rising stem, pressure bonnet, transverse seals with scrapers and injectable packing for reduced material buildup and improved sealing, proximity switches for gate position feedback
